Research, combined with nearly a decade of service in Europe has proven the ZURN 150 plot combine to be a powerful harvester that works well in high yielding crops as well as in mix-free plot harvest with minimal losses. It provides quick and efficient clean-out and easy maintenance. Because of its lightweight design, the ZURN 150 is easily transportable by pick-up and trailer. Some parts can be found at John Deere dealerships world-wide and other automotive retailers. A small list of parts not locally found will be at our overnight shipping warehouses in both Iowa and Minnesota. The ZURN 150 is custom-made to meet the needs of each individual customer. It is ergonomically designed for comfort, technologically advanced, and simple to maintain with only four easily accessible belts. A big advantage is its large surface universal concave that can be easily set from the driver’s seat for all crops. NO MORE CHANGING CONCAVES FOR DIFFERENT CROPS! It is an industry-leader with its double sieve system. ZURN has taken great measures to manufacture a straightforward yet very well engineered superior harvester.
The ZURN 150 has strong roots to the Hege plot combine, which has a long history in the US and throughout the world. Many key, former Hege employees have been involved with the development and manufacturing of this new plot harvester. ZURN owns many John Deere dealerships in Germany, which accounts for its 2.4 liter John Deere diesel engine and abundance of John Deere parts. The ZURN 150 proudly wears the emblems: “Hege System” and “Powered by John Deere” as a badge of its heritage, quality, and efficiency. At a recent demonstration, one long-term seed breeder commented; “This has to be one of the best plot combines I have ever seen manufactured.”

John Winkelman, President and Business Manager, who has 30 years of management experience; Ken Winkelman, Vice President of Marketing, who has 30 years of experience in marketing, design and operations management; Brian Winkelman, Vice President of Sales, who has over a decade of experience in seed research, and also proudly represents SRES Planters and Seeders; and Ken Tibboel, Vice President of Service, who has 25 years of design and metal fabrication, and production management experience. All business partners of AIES, LLC, having been raised on farms in central Iowa, are excited to be a part of representing the ZURN 150 plot combine.
